A fully furnished 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 3 level premier log cabin, that is only 55 minutes from Washington, DC, and only 45 minutes from the Shenandoah Mountains. Standard price based on 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom sleeping 4 people. A 3rd bedroom for 5 to 6 guests for additional fees per night, per person.

Our log cabin has 3 bedrooms with king beds, a loft with 4 queen beds, 3 full bathrooms with showers and a powder bath on the main level. It also has two beautiful stone fire places, a deck with a hot tub for use in late September through April and front porch with a swing.

We purchased the farm house in 2017 and did a complete renovation of the old farm house with 3 private bedrooms and 2 & 1/2 baths surrounded by 53 acres of breath taking land with tall trees, running steam and 2 beautiful ponds full of fish. Many trails, fishing (catch and release), boating, target shooting as well as bow & arrow, seasonal hunting (dear, docks and geese) or many games available to keep you busy (corn hole, badminton, etc. ). There is always something to do at the farm and when you done, just sit around the fire pits or the ponds and enjoy the beauties nature offers and forget about the outside noise. The space We bought the farm early in 2017 when we fell in love with the farm and surrounding lands on the first look. The old farm house dated back to 1800. We tried to keep the old charm with the new when we renovated it from top to bottom in mid 2017. Surrounded by 53 acres of open land, trees and water. There are 4 venues to hang out on the property. 2 Patios, one off the kitchen and one on the back porch next to the front entrance and 2 fire pits to sit around at nights. There is also a 1000 sq ft. pavilion looking over the pond with a catering kitchen for entertainment. Guest access There is over 50 acreage of beautiful land with 2 ponds surrounded by tall trees. There are much more acreage surrounding the farm that you can use for trails. There is also an RV that can be added to your booking if needed more sleeping quarters for $75/night. It sleeps up to 4 adults or children. Please advise in advance you need additional sleeping quarters. Other things to note You’re in heaven if you like outdoor, barbecue, fishing, walking different trails, outdoor games, shooting targets, relax around the firepit or on one of the patios. There are always something you can find to do at the farm. In addition there are 6 adirondack chairs on the upper pond to enjoy an afternoon nap or feed the fishes. There is also a 6 person dome tent available to use on the upper shelf in the closet next to the front door. Please just make sure to put it back the way you find it.

He raised his children there and saw his grandchildren raised there. I hope I will be fortunate enough to see my future generations in the manor also. It's 1820 origins are hardly noticeable as it was completely refurbished in 2012 with just about all new systems, updated finishes, and in most cases, even structural components. THE PROPERTY Welcome to our 3 acre mini homestead (well, we’re in the process of making it a homestead....animals to come in spring of 2020...yaaay!) we are located in a more rural area of Virginia, so all our neighbors have 3+ acre properties. This does mean you will feel pretty secluded and have your privacy, but will still be able to see neighboring homes, especially in the fall and winter when all the leaves have fallen. However we are only a short drive of 8 miles, 13 minutes to town with plenty of restaurants and shopping. We are also only a 16 minute drive to the 95 in Fredericksburg. The property currently has a 4 bedroom cabin located on it which is where the Host lives. We have a small pond on the property with a rope swing and ducks coming in the spring! :) (Please read all of this description before making a reservation request.) The cozy and clean Tiny Home has a semi-bohemian feel as you walk up the stairs and enter through the digitally controlled doorway. The entire home is brand new and completed in October 2019, so the space is extra crisp. To your left you’ll see the lounge area with plenty of seating and even has a small pul out section in the middle for an extra sleeping area if needed. We also have FREE wireless internet and ROKU TV for a cozy movie during your stay. Straight ahead you’ll find the storage closet with shelf and place to hang your clothes. there’s also an outlet under the shelf. To the right you’ll see the small breakfast nook, kitchen, bathroom, and stairs leading to the loft bedroom. BREAKFAST NOOK/WORKSPACE - our cute little breakfast nook has seating for two with storage underneath and an easily accessible power outlet for your laptops. KITCHEN - our fully functional kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious meals with your family. It’s complete with stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans, and all the utensils you’ll need. We have also supplied you with the basics for soap and shampoo, and plenty of towels and washcloths. COMPOSTING TOILET - The Villa 9215 is newly released for market in 2018. It is the most advanced, trouble free composting toilet available for on grid or off-grid living. It is waterless and urine diverting. This means that is separates the solid waste from the liquid waste. This model also features a constantly running internal fan that ventilates the toilet outside. A common misconception is that composting toilets have a repelling odor. But in fact, once people actually use our composting toilet, they say that it is MORE odorless than a regular flush toilet. This is due to the advanced design of the toilet and the continuous running exhaust fan. THE LOFT - up the stairs you’ll find our comfy Queen sized bed with plenty of pillows. We provide clean sheets and pillow cases. Plenty of blankets are also provided. OUTDOOR PAVILION - one of our favorite part of the tiny home is the Outdoor Pavilion! Here you’ll find a comfy day bed with plenty of pillows and a comfy blanket for those cool nights by the fire. We also have a small outdoor table with two chairs. Plenty of string lights for the perfect ambiance, and we certainly can’t forget the fire pit to round out a perfect night at our Tiny Home. We also provide a small propane grill for the grill-masters in the family.

This is on well water. We have a state of the art water filtration system newly installed. The water is tested annually and is in compliance with safe water for the State of Virginia. This house is handicap accessible. 24/7 perimeter surveillance. Two desk workspaces. Ideal for business meetings. Guest access: Our guests have access to the main floor which is four bedrooms and two full baths. There is no access to the office downstairs or the top level which has a separate entrance. We have newly paved asphalt and no large vehicles are permitted on the newly paved road as it will damage it. This includes but is not limited to utility trucks, dump trucks, large work vehicles, tractor trailers, etc. Other things to note: There is a small business in the basement (separate entrance and is inaccessible to the upstairs). The small business operates between 9a-5p typically. You can park directly out front and there is plenty of parking. There is a full-size washer and dryer.

The kitchen is renovated and has a 6 burner gas stove, dishwasher, refrigerator and double oven and everything a cook needs. Guests also have access to a swimming pool (in season) and a tennis court. The walk out basement houses our farm and business office, is completely separate from the main house and is not accessible to guests.There is always someone reachable by phone if you have any questions. Our farm manager and house manager live close by and can help with any problems or questions you may have. We ask that guests not enter the barn area or the fields where the cows, donkeys and horses live. And please do not feed the animals. They would love it but we need to be careful with their diets. The donkeys and horses are retired and/or rescue animals and most have medical issues, so we regulate their diets carefully. Walking on paths and gravel drives is encouraged. We provide a description of the farm paths and nature books at the house. Nature lovers, bring your camera!

We are a working horse farm, horses are transported to the City everyday to work our carriage company during tourist season. Our horses are well known and loved. Our place is in a very nice neighborhood and is a very peaceful haven. Our neighborhood is a great place to go on walks or sit outside and soak in the sun. It is very close to downtown Fredericksburg, VA. The space Our in-law-suite about 1,000 sq ft. The in-law-suite has a full kitchen, laundry room and one full bathroom. The bedroom has a bed and two large dressers and a very large walk in closet. The area is beautiful decorated and very comfortable. It is in our home but you will have your privacy. The is a very large screen TV to watch. The in-law-suite has its own private entrance with a beautiful pergola to sit under on when the weather is nice. Guest access The apartment is separated by a downstairs door, guests have access to the whole apartment. Private access and a parking spot. Interaction with guests We give our guest privacy and interact as much as our guest care too. Guest are more than welcome to knock on the door and come in for conversation. We work long hours and are away from the farm during certain times of the year. Other things to note Guest are welcome to visit with horses as long as we are with our guests. Guests should not approach horses without permission.
